Pointer to a Few of Romes Historic Monuments

The ancient capital of Rome is amongst the old Western european cities, established about three millennia ago. Over the centuries folk have continued to live here – initially it was made the principal city of the Roman Empire and later it became the home of the Pope, head of the Roman Catholic Church. As a result its influence around the planet cannot be denied. Numerous EU languages have been developed from Latin. Additionally, the Romans strongly influenced the way in which politics and law are practiced. In a massive amount of countries, if you look closely at the buildings you will see styles that were first developed by the Romans. Present day Rome is one huge, internationally commended open-air museum, sitting on layers of structures reaching back over two thousand years.
